I'm Katharin (she/they), the heart behind Wildly Wed. My roots are in Sand & Sage Photography, where we capture families, stories and connections. But it came to a point when I realised I wanted something more for weddings. Something louder. More authentic and less polished pressure.
A little about me:
I live with chronic illness, which meant stepping away from a "normal" job. I carved a new path: turning my passion for photography into a way of life. On days when I'm not doing weddings you may see me with my walking stick or editing from my bed.
I'm also bisexual and proud part of the LGBTQIA+ community. That means I don't stand for hate, judgement, or exclusion of any kind. Your wedding day is about love and every version of love deserves to be celebrated.
Beside me is my partner, Travis (he/him). He's my second shooter, my support system and a Type 1 diabetic who knows firsthand what it means to live with strength and resilience. He's the one catching the stolen glances, the quiet smiles, the "did you just see that?" moments while I'm knee-deep in the big, cinematic shots.
Together, we're more than just photographers. We're a team, who'll show up, cheer you on, and hold space for you to be yourselves.
